Iva Svoboda, born 1992 in Cheb, Czech Republic, studied architecture and design at the Academy of Arts in Prague and in Halle, 2017—2021. After her bachelor’s degree she completed her studies in the metal sculpture class, and in 2021 she founded www.kunsthier.com. Cooperations and exhibitions in various collectives (e.g das Bedürfnis, Raum für subversive Kunst). She has been on residency in France and Ukraine, and in 2022 she received the art prize of the Saalesparkasse Foundation and the DAAD prize for her diploma. Continuing her post- graduate studies she works with the media of performance, text, sound, video and installation.
