The artist duo intangible archives was founded in 2024 by Sarafina McLeod and Lissy Willberg. Their collaboration explores participatory formats in outdoor spaces and situates itself within the field of performative arts. McLeod and Willberg conduct research based on their body-, space-, and object-oriented practice, focusing on themes of local/global situatedness and the conditions for social gatherings among diverse actors. intangible archives are interested in shifting hegemonic, Western-oriented practices of orientation both within and outside of bodies. In this context, they have realized joint projects on tracking technologies (2019) and soil horizons (2023) at NYG West (DE) and Matadero Intermediae (ESP).
