Nataly Hulikova lives in Leipzig and studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in the class for performative arts with Isabel Lewis. Her interest in interpersonal relationships, social differences, and imposed boundaries is reflected in her work. She conveys perspectives on the determination of personal development within social systems through sound pieces. She was a founding member of the amateur punk band YOR, showcased her spatial installation I AM STRONG, I AM BEAUTIFUL (2019) as part of the MdbK-mobil project, and is currently focused on transforming field recordings into musical compositions.
Everyday noises and shifting temper are transformed into sound structures over which different objects and voices are used to improvise. As these evolving layers merge, they become part of an unfolding flux—a dynamic and fluid movement where sound, space, and energy continuously interact and reshape. This experimental and abstract meditation gently invites you to experience the essence of flux, exploring how the constant flow and transformation of sound reveal the hidden rhythms of the ordinary, culminating in a rich and ever-shifting soundscape.
